Stark didn't always take initiative when he ought to. Yesterday had been an exception and given the reaction he was feeling like he ought to take initiative more often.

For the moment, he and Summer were taking in the absolutely ridiculous suite he'd managed to book. He'd promised a private pool and somewhere warm and he'd delivered.

"So," he asked after watching her explore their new surroundings for a bit with a grin on his face, "will this suit you for the holiday? The pool and the other pools and the beach and...all of it?"

He knew she'd seen every corner of the suite. He'd watched her and delighted in her reactions to every new thing she discovered.

Not bad for a 'situationship,' eh?

"Believe me, Stark," Summer said, wriggling a little against him inticingly, before turning around, to face him, and slide her arms around his neck, "when we're in here, we're not going to be swimming."

"No swimming?" Stark asked, eyebrow raised. "Hmm. We don't have to swim."

He gave her a wicked little grin. "As long as we still get to enjoy the pool. Our pool, just for us. With no one else around..." He let his voice trail off and grinned again before stepping back a little. Just a half-step, not enough to really pull away.

"Summer, if we don't get changed now we may never get down to the beach." Which would be a shame, really. He liked the beach.

"Why are you saying that," asked Summer, with a faint grin back, and with Stark moving back just that little bit, it gave her space to slide her hands down to his chest, "like it's a bad thing?"

"Not a bad thing," Stark said, voice low. "But the beach will be better in the sun and I promised you drinks and I want to make sure you have everything you want while we're here."

"And," he added, sliding his own hands down her sides, "I want to see all of your swim suits."

The smile on Summer's face suggested that the promise of sunshine and drinks on the beach and, more importantly, everything she wanted was a very good argument, indeed, and her lip momentarily tucked itself between her teeth as she looked at Stark innocently.

"But you already did see all of them," she pointed out sweetly.

"I only saw one of them up close," Stark pointed out, holding her gaze. "I need to see the others, too. Up close. Very close."

He had to inspect those cutouts. And the integrity of the ties. And see how well they fit.
