MHA #8, Saturday morning
After having pizza andwith Raiden yesterday, Stark had headed to the fire station with more pizza and ended up visiting Travis's office for a while. He'd had some very pleasant office visits this week and that had been no exception.
Upstairs at the station, Travis had plenty of leftover food that had been delivered at various points during the week so he and Stark managed to eat well and enjoy themselves thoroughly. At some point, because Stark's apartment had a nicer shower, they'd gone back there for the night. They'd even managed to fall asleep, eventually.
Falling asleep, of course, meant that eventually they'd have to wake up. Something they were very unprepared for this morning. Completely unprepared.
Stark was rarely a heavy sleeper. This week was something of an exception to that rule and so when he started to rouse he just moved closer to the source of warmth in his bed. He did love cuddling in the morning. But something seemed off today. They didn't seem to fit together easily the way they normally did. He was used to pressing his back into Travis's chest. He wasn't used to that chest being so...soft.
"Travis?" he mumbled sleepily, not opening his eye yet.

"Oh. That feels odd. Still, breathing is important please breathe." He reached out to put an arm around Travis, suddenly realizing as he did so that he was much shorter than he normally was in addition to other additions and subtractions.

Shut up.
"-- Is to get dressed."
He grabbed his now hilariously oversized shirt from the floor and yanked it on over his head.
It didn't help.

"If that makes you feel better. Yes. I should too, then. Can I help?"
Not necessarily with the getting dressed but with anything at all.
"I'm sure I could help. If you let me."

Travis took another deep breath, rubbing his nose.
At least that hadn't changed drastically. His nose. Though his fingers were slimmer than he was used to.
"I -- have no idea. I have absolutely no frame of reference for this. I think -- I think I need to go home."
Call Vic. Maybe scream for awhile. That sounded good.
"Sorry."

"You could stay here if you wanted," he offered quietly. "I've been through this before."

But Stark being so calm about this was only making Travis more riled up.
"I'll -- call you. Or come by. Later."
He picked up his pants and started trying to drag them on while simultaneously heading for the door. It was going to be a miracle if he didn't trip over something and smack his head against the wall.

He was really only staying calm because Travis wasn't and would probably fully freak out soon enough.

Probie was waiting just outside the door, whining faintly. She could tell he was Not Okay and wanted to Do Something About It as well.
She would probably lie down on top of him for the rest of the day the moment they got home.

Summer's pants were around here somewhere after last weekend. Those would fit better than his own. At least there was that.
