Stark
Stark is from Farscape which is my favorite show ever that I love and will talk about endlessly given any possible opportunity. For real though.
He's a Banik, a humanoid (Or Sebaceanoid since it’s Farscape) alien. He's also a Stykera which is a special sort of Banik though canon never really fully explains the specialness. He’s “attuned to the dying.” Stykera can do some nifty stuff, like crossing people over to The Other Side and sharing thoughts with others and taking their pain. Sometimes he gets all spiritual, though he's not religious.
Basically he's not entirely corporeal (he survived being "dispersed" once because of this) and he glows. Well, his face glows at least. Hence the Phantom of the Opera-esque mask he wears all the time. If he isn’t prepared to take it off, he kind of leaks out energy which is unpleasant and potentially dangerous for him.
And occasionally he serves as a Glowy Plot Device. Sometimes glowyness assists with time travel, for instance, and then a whole planet gets destroyed but it gets a little better. Look, I don’t make the rules these things just happen.
He's pretty when he glows though.

Stark used to be a slave to the Scarran upper caste, and then then he was basically a science experiment for Scorpius, then he met Crichton on the Gammak base and escaped with Moya's crew for a while.
He left for a bit (bit of a theme with him), lived on Moya for a while, got executed by getting disintegrated even though he did NOTHING WRONG (and he let it happen to save everyone else because there was an outside chance he would survive and no chance that they would), got better, and fell in love with a plant who went and died on him. The plant was a person named Zhaan. Not like, a houseplant. That would be weird. They weren't weird together though. They were perfect and I love them.
He has been alone since then. VERY ALONE FOR A VERY LONG TIME.
Multiple other shipmates died as well because it’s Farscape. Some of them got better. One they had a spare of.
Then he came to school here, developed an unhealthy fascination with cupcakes (this is Shanie’s fault), graduated, went back to space, got Banik-napped, had a video game made from his neural template...
Then he got stuffed in a box by the Scarrans so they could make a bioloid replica of him, got rescued, then helped bring about the end of a nasty war after briefly going rather crazier than normal.
He has led an odd life which is one reason Fandom feels so much like home to him.
He's post-canon (except for the comics) after I spent an absurdly long time drawing out season 4 and then Peacekeeper Wars. Except the very last bit for him in PK Wars because I disagree that his treatment therein would have led to finding inner peace or whatever and also I like him to be glowy.
He came back to Fandom to teach a Cupcake Wars summer class with Anders several years ago and then stayed around. Except for when I neglected him and the game for a very, very long time and he disappeared in a handwavy fashion and came back in the same way. This is very much in keeping with canon so it is fine. He came back from his unofficial hiatus earlier this year. He’s currently living in MHA #8. He taught some more cupcake classes this summer and is going to be one of many people "teaching" Career Development this term.
Other things to know about Stark:
-He tips really well. Canonically.
-He likes kids and is actually pretty good with them.
-Used to work at the clinic. Probably could again.
-Usually wants to help, if he can, and he isn't freaking out.
-He's actively trying to be more social because he's very lonely but doesn't really admit it.
-He's less twitchy than he used to be but still gets very fidgety when he's nervous. And he does get nervous about a lot of things.
-Also hums when he's nervous.
-Used to pretend he was crazy to get Scorpy and company to leave him alone more. It stopped being an act for a while after he got dispersed and then Zhaan died. He still has trouble sometimes.
-Will absolutely show you what's under the mask if aren't a jerk about asking.
-Dresses in lots of earth tones, mostly browns and blacks.
-May accidentally be the leader of a cult of raccoons living in the island's tunnels.
-Doesn't like the cold much. Because the ice planet was terrible and because he spent his formative years in Scarran space and Scarrans like things hot.
-He's a ginger though you can't always tell from icons because his head was basically shaved the first 3 seasons and the miniseries but here's a rare smiling gif, with hair!
Belle
Was anyone surprised this was me? Didn't think so.
-Belle is from Once Upon a Time which is another show I love (but also sometimes hated because WRITERS WHY) and can babble on about for ages.
-Similar to your familiar cartoon Disney princess version but obvs not exactly the same.
-Does love books though
-Will probably end up in the library.
-Completely adorable.
-Also very pretty.
-Has a wee hero complex and wants to be brave.
-Will call you out on your shit if she thinks it's warranted, especially if your name is Rumplestiltskin. Or you're her dad. Her dad sucks. She doesn't know that yet though.
-Is also kind of a romantic
-Betrothed to Gaston back home but really not into it.
-Coming in as a 16 year old Sophomore.
-MOSTLY pre-canon except for the flashback where her mom died bravely in an ogre attack. Hence the wee hero complex.
-Will absolutely be willing to go on adventures!
-Also willing to do research!
-Sometimes may do research WHILE adventuring!
-Will hopefully be imprisoned less here than she is in canon.
-My first student in SEVEN YEARS.

-Currently employed as a middle school librarygoblinclerk and working in a public school is an EXPERIENCE right now.
-Apparently my character type is "played by Australians" since Belle brings the total of those up to 3.
-I've played 6 whole characters now, counting the new one. Over a 15 year span.
-Can be found on the Discord, on the Twitters, via email, etc. I am ALWAYS happy to do silly and/or serious things. I am just an Anxious Weirdo who almost never reaches out first.
