OOC: Info Post!
It's been roughly 84 years since I've done one of these.
Stark's from Farscape which is my favorite show in the history of ever and everyone should watch it. It’s on Amazon Prime! It’s great!
He's a Banik, which is a humanoid (Or Sebaceanoid since it’s Farscape) alien. He's also a Stykera which is a special sort of Banik though canon never really fully explains the specialness. He’s “attuned to the dying.” Stykera can do some nifty stuff, like crossing people over to The Other Side (he assists the dying and makes it a nice experience for them) and sharing thoughts with others and taking their pain. Basically he's not entirely corporeal (he survived being "dispersed" once because of this) and he glows. Well, his face glows at least. Hence the Phantom of the Opera-esque mask he wears all the time. If he isn’t prepared to take it off, he kind of leaks out energy which is unpleasant and potentially dangerous for him. And occasionally he serves as a Glowy Plot Device. Sometimes glowyness assists with time travel, for instance, and then a whole planet gets destroyed but it gets a little better. Look, I don’t make the rules here.
Stark used to be a slave to the Scarran upper caste, then he was basically a science experiment for Scorpius, then he met Crichton on the Gammak base, left for a bit, lived on Moya for a while, got executed by getting disintegrated even though he didn’t do anything wrong, and fell in love with a plant who went and died on him. The plant was a person named Zhaan. Not like, a houseplant. Multiple other shipmates died as well because it’s Farscape. Some of them got better. One they had a spare of. Then he came to school here, developed an unhealthy fascination with cupcakes (this is Shanie’s fault), graduated, went back to space, got Banik-napped, had a video game made from his neural template (as bizarre as you might expect), got stuffed in a box by the Scarrans so they could make a bioloid version of him, got rescued, then helped bring about the end of a nasty war after briefly going rather crazier than normal. He has led an odd life.
He's post-canon (except for the comics because I’m still not 100% convinced they count) after I spent an absurdly long time drawing out season 4 and then Peacekeeper Wars. Except the very last bit for him in PK Wars because I disagree that his treatment therein would have led to finding inner peace or whatever and also I like him to be glowy.
He came back to Fandom to teach a Cupcake Wars summer class with Anders and then never really left. Except for when I neglected him and the game for a very, very long time and he disappeared in a handwavy fashion and came back in the same way. This is very much in keeping with canon so it is fine. He came back from his unofficial hiatus earlier this year. He’s currently living at MHA #8 and just finished up another round of cupcake summer classes.

I’ve been here since the beginning and have managed to have a grand total of 5 characters that whole time. Name them all, get a free virtual cupcake!
Still living that Eastern timezone life.
No longer a professional child wrangler. Currently a library clerk in a middle school as of roughly a year ago. What an odd first year this was.
Have to go back to work next Tuesday in spite of kids not going back to school until October 5 at the earliest, so my daytime availability will be limited. Though since basically nobody else has to work I doubt anyone will care if I pull out my phone once in a while. WHO KNOWS. Unclear if dreamwidth works on school wifi but that’s why we have data plans.
