Onboard Moya, Tuesday Fandom time
They'd left Fandom early this morning in Summer's ship which had been loaded up with as much Christmas as they could fit into it.
Pilot had cleared them for landing and as soon as they'd done so Stark and Summer were scrambling out of the ship and starting to unload. It was going to take a while.
When the others made their way in to the docking bay and stood, staring, as the contents of the ship were proudly displayed. There were wrapped gifts. There were wreaths. There were trees. There were so many lights. There were so many cookies. There was a cooler with eggnog. There were ornaments. There was tinsel. There was a bag full of ugly sweaters but that would come later.
"Astro! You rob a store or 12 on the way here? What is all this?" Crichton asked, eyes wide.
"We brought Christmas," Stark said. "I don't know if it's the right time here but it was the right time at home, on the island, and so...we brought it with us. I told you we were coming."
"Yeah but you didn't say you were gonna puke up Christmas all over Moya."
"Is it okay?" Stark asked, voice suddenly small and worried.
"It's frelling amazing, Stark. You did good. You too, Summer." Crichton flashed her a smile. "Y'all need help unloading?"
[NFB on account of it's in spaaaaaace. For the girlfriend but I can hardly stop anyone from calling or texting cos I'm not the boss of you]

She beamed brightly, fluttering innocent eyelashes at them all.
"So, yeah! Hi! And merry fucking Christmas, you guys! There's loads more in the smuggling compartment, too."
no subject
"Drad," she breathed out. "Summer!" Lithe grey arms were thrown around the other woman's neck. "You did this for us?"
"I helped," Stark said, rolling his eye.
"Sure ya did, Starky." Chiana grinned at him, slung an arm over Summer's shoulder as she turned. "Lemme see what you smuggled in your smuggling compartment!"
no subject
"Drad yourself, girl," she said, easily draping an arm over Chiana in kind as she smirked over at her. "We just got here. There'll be plenty of time for that later.
"Besides," she added with a shrug, "Pancakes is hiding in one of them right now, and if you find her before she's settled, it will not be pretty."
no subject
Crichton grinned at her. "Haven't seen a cat in cycles. Is she friendly?"
"She's great," Chiana insisted. "But did they bring us chocolate?"
"Chiana," Stark said disapprovingly. "I'm not a monster. There's so much chocolate."
no subject
"Obscene amounts, actually," she added, as if that didn't apply to literally everything else they'd brought, too, "and Pancakes might be friendly, once she stops being mad at me about being in space again. Might, if she likes you. God help you if she doesn't, though, nothing you can do about that, but I brought stuff if it turns out you need to sweeten the deal a little with her."
no subject
"Obscene chocolate?" Chiana's grin turned a little wicked. "Hope some of that's just for me."
Stark shook his head at her with a little sigh. It was going to be like this the whole visit, wasn't it?
"We have something for everyone," Stark said. "Even Rygel. Is he coming up or do we have to go down?"
"His Royal Frogness extended a royal invitation. His guard doesn't want him up here unsupervised."
"And we have no desire to have Moya overrun with armed Hynerians," Aeryn added.
"One Rygel is more than enough," Chiana said cheerfully. "But forget him. We wanna see the presents."
no subject
A pause.
"Except maybe the sweaters. We can probably do the sweaters, and then you'll all have your sweaters for helping us decorate!"
See, now, on the surface, it looked like Summer had just plotted to bring holiday cheer to space, but if you squinted at it enough, you realized that she was just snatching up the chance to be a holly-jolly tyrant, mwa ha ha.

There was one for Rygel that would just have to wait.
One for Pilot (with extra arms).
One for Noranti who had yet to make an appearance and would need to be kept away from the food they'd brought (at least until they were ready to eat).
One for little D'Argo who was watching the proceedings curiously and quietly from beside his mother.
One for Crichton, of course.
One for Aeryn that was hopefully not too ugly because Stark never wanted to make her angry.
And one for Chiana that was hopefully ugly enough.
"These are an Earth tradition," Stark said, managing to keep a straight face. It's important for everyone to have one."

She....was aware that some would need a bit more convincing than others.
And she was half surprised that Chiana and Crichton weren't already pulling shit out of boxes, tbh.
no subject
"Never thought of you as a party guy, Astro."
"I'm better than I used to be," Stark said simply, glancing over at Summer as he spoke. "You should all get changed. We can bring Pilot his later. I think we brought a little tree for his console...? Definitely some decorations."
Pilot couldn't come to the center chamber for Christmas so Christmas would simply have to come to him.
no subject
But, with that said, she slipped away from her friend-lean on Chiana to be the driving force in getting this particular party rolling.
"Last one to the main whatever-you-guys-call-it," she said, hefting up a box she knew held some of the parts of one of the many fake trees she'd brought with the intention of combining them all into some sort of unholy Frankentree, "gets stuck checking for dead lights! And anyone not wearing their sweater will have the Mistle-Drone flown over their head the instant they're next to Rygel!"
no subject
"You put mistletoe on a drone?" Crichton asked, horrified, as he grabbed a box and went running towards a door that would eventually lead to the center chamber. "That's twisted."
"For one of the parties," Stark said, laughing, as he followed.
Chiana, who had kissed worse than Rygel, shrugged and grabbed a couple of bags and went tearing in right direction as well.
